Well, we finally got our Christmas tree up and decorated last night. We’ve officially begun the Holiday Season at the Cooper home! I know, I know, I am way behind some of you and I’m so impressed with those who can get their tree up the last week of November, or even the first week of December! And no, I haven’t begun my shopping or holiday cards either, but it will get done sometime between now, and our Disneyland trip, and Christmas.

It’s not that I don’t enjoy doing these holiday activities; it’s just that these past couple of months I have been extra busy working on some exciting new things for my business for 2009 and beyond!
New things such as:

• A new website for Calyco Healing—which will include forums
• A Master Class and certification for CH graduates
• A few changes to my Tai Chi Flow website
• New products to help you keep on track with your positive energy
• And yes, I’m still working on my book!

We've got a great group taking shape for the upcoming Calyco Healing Training! It will be held on Feb. 9^th– 12^th ~ Monday – Thursday.

PLEASE NOTE: Beginning 2009, there is an increase in tuition, however if you register before Dec. 31^st, you will still get in at last year's price! We have payment plans available, so if you are thinking about attending, please register as soon possible! There are less than 3 weeks to register before the "early deadline"--yes, you may still register after that (if there is room), but it will be at the new 2009 tuition price.

February's training will be held at the Green Gate Village Bed & Breakfast Inn right in the heart of St. George, Utah. You can stay at the Village or book a room at a local motel. I love this B & B, it has great energy! Head's up: they book up quickly, so if you are thinking of attending in Feb. and want to stay there, you need to reserve a room soon.

Do you recognize this guy in the photo with me? Yes, that is Brian Tracy, one of the all-time most well known international business speakers. He is the top selling author of over 45 books, he has written and produced more than 300 audio and video learning programs and has consulted for more than 1,000 companies and addressed more than 4,000,000 people in 4,000 talks and seminars around the world!

So why is he in a photo with me?

Let me start at the beginning of the story…(please stay with me, I’ll keep it brief)

In October I was asked if I’d be interested in being on
faculty for a new, amazing internet learning
site called I Learning Global….

It is a brand new site that allows members to have direct 24/7 access to the most valuable training and learning content available today. It provides training videos, audio programs, and ebooks from the top speakers, trainers, and authors worldwide.

New content is added to the site weekly so the information is always fresh and you never run out of resources for continuous learning. This new technology brings powerful presentations in high-definition, full screen, streaming video right into people’s homes through their computer screen. So instead of paying some of these guys a couple thousand dollars for a 3 day seminar, for a small monthly fee, you can simply sit down in your PJs and watch your computer screen!

I’m totally into life-long learning,
so this idea was intriguing to me.
I wanted more information...

I learned that there are only about 5 companies who use this technology: major television networks, Disney, and Oprah, because it's so cost-prohibitive - to the tune of 3 million dollars to play in the game, and $500,000 each quarter to maintain... plus streaming charges.

Well, the creators of the technology knew some retired millionaires, some of them wearing Super Bowl rings. They said, "If you can find a business model that would take this technology to the Internet withOUT being television, you can have it for free (except for streaming charges)."

So they put their heads together, and came up with an idea to create a community around sports videos and teaching kids how to throw a football. They knew Garth Brooks because of their involvement in his charity, and planned to include a concert each quarter.

Their intention was to draw in the YouTube crowd - millions joined YouTube to watch poor quality video in a 3-inch box, why wouldn't they join this new community to watch high definition videos in full screen, with no buffering? The plan was to grow the community, sell it, buy an NBA franchise, and retire again.

Brian Tracy found out these guys had access to the technology. He contacted the CEO and asked, "Is it true you have this technology?" John McLelland (CEO) said, "Yes, we do." Brian said, "This is the future of my industry. We've always known that one day we'd be in everyone's home. We just weren't willing to give up our content to a 3-inch, low-quality box." He continued, "I'm in. I'll give you everything I've ever created. I'll bring you the top speakers in the world, and we'll fill the site with our content." He turned over his $600,000 worth of content, and became the Chief Learning Officer for the newly evolved company now www.iLearningGlobal.tv

The company has only been "open" since August 1st, 2008, it is still in soft launch mode. The big launch is scheduled for next month--January 2009. People can't sign up unless someone has referred them. That's because the company pays commissions on the referrals.

Hmm…I must admit I was a little
hesitant on the “referrals” part
(but not the commissions, ha-ha).

But I kept listening because this site is such a great idea, especially for people like me who love to learn, and even better in the comfort of my home and at my own pace! And since I have kids, I love that they realize the need for material directed to the YOUTH. Teens just don't pay thousands of dollars for personal development, and now they have access to material that can really make a powerful impact in their lives. In the coming months iLG’s goal is to have many audios and videos for the younger generation.

Still curious, my husband and I went to Mesa
in November to meet with John McClelland (CEO)
and to attend the first pre-launch convention.
We had so much fun, met lots of great people,
and listened to inspiring talks by several of
the faculty members!

Bob Proctor, Mark Victor Hansen, Jack Canfield, Dolf de Roos, Stephen Covey, John Gray, Sandy Botkin, Denis Waitley, T Harv Ecker, Les Brown, Richard Paul Evans, Tony Allesandra, Leslie Householder (pictured with me here; learn about her book below), and more... about 45 are on faculty at the time I write this... including me! (as of that Nov. meeting). In the coming months I will have some content created to be posted on their site (now you see why I hadn’t had time to get my Christmas tree up sooner!)

If we consider ourselves so unimportant that we must fill every moment of our lives with action, becoming human-doings instead of human beings, when will we have the time to make the long, slow journey across the desert as did the Magi? Or sit and watch the stars as did the shepherds? Or ponder over the coming of the child as did Mary? For each one of us, there is a desert to travel. A star to discover. And a being within ourselves to bring to life. Give yourself the gift of some quiet, reflective time this holiday season.
