The Calyco Healing Training at Red Mountain Spa is 2 weeks away! And it is filling up fast! If you have any interest at all in healing work, I HIGHLY recommend that you take a few days and attend one of these seminars. It is quick, clean, simple to do, and powerful in its outcome! It is streamlined, yet very thorough. Everyone can use this process, from the novice to the Practitioner.

AAhh, autumn! My favorite time of the year! The heat of summer is gone, and there is a wonderful crispness in the air. I love noticing all the lessons that nature provides for us during each season. For example, watching the leaves change and fall from the trees. What do you suppose would happen if the tree was not willing to release those leaves? I'm sure it would block the new, green growth from coming in the springtime.

How many times in our lives do we hang on to things longer than necessary? We clutter our lives with self-doubt, resentment, fear, grudges, judgment of ourselves and others...and the list goes on. What would happen if we were to simply let go of those negative thoughts and emotions? Many people are afraid of letting go of what they are accustomed to, even though they are unhappy with it. They know and are comfortable with how it feels to hold on to all their 'dead leaves', and the fear is, who am I without all my 'leaves'? If I let them go, will I be too exposed? Will others accept and like the real me? When questions like this arise, that's when we need to put down our roots, stand a little taller, and allow the process to unfold.

A woman who recently had an Energy Clearing session with me, came in with the'dead leaves' of resentment and anger toward her husband. She doubted there would ever be peace (new blossoms) in their relationship again. She was waiting for some new growth to show itself, before she was willing to let go of the old. By holding on to those dead leaves, she was blocking the fresh, vibrant growth from coming in.

Of course, a marriage takes two, and her husband was holding on tightly to some 'leaves' of his own. But a family is like a mobile; when you change your position, it affects others as well. During the session, she was able to release those old leaves. As we cleared those negative patterns in the energy, it opened the way for new growth to begin.

My neighbor has a big, beautiful tree that overlooks our yard. Each year I watch as this tree has the wisdom to let go of what is no longer useful for it to hang on to. It has the faith to let go of all those dead leaves, knowing that nature will once again clothe it in beautiful, fresh leaves, if only it is patient.

Just as God blesses the tree with more abundant growth each year, he will also bless our lives with positive growth as we are willing to let go of dry leaves of negativity that we still choose to hang on to.
